Applicability in the brand ecosystem:
These community rules apply to the SCANDIC brand ecosystem, in particular to the following brands and services:
as well as for all structures held or supported by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED.
1. Purpose and scope of the community rules
- Discussion forums, comment sections and rating functions
- Social media and all profiles operated by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED
- Support and help areas, ticket and chat systems
- Webinars, virtual events and other digital formats
- All other digital communication tools that users can use to interact with each other or with SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED.
2. Basic principles of interaction within the community
- Respect: Every person must be treated with respect, regardless of their origin, language, religion, ideology, gender, sexual orientation, age, financial situation, political views or other characteristics.
- Sense of responsibility: Contributions should be factual, honest and carefully worded. Unconfirmed rumours, deliberate misinformation or misleading content have no place in the community.
- Transparency: Personal interests, especially economic or business interests, must be disclosed if they are relevant to the assessment of a contribution.
- Safety: The safety of all participants always takes priority. Content that may incite violence, hatred or illegal behaviour is strictly prohibited.
3. Protection of intellectual property
- Logos, trademarks, service marks, pictorial marks and word/picture combinations
- Product and service names
- Layout, structure and design of websites and platforms
- Texts, articles, training content, documentation and other publications
- Graphics, images, videos, audio recordings and other multimedia content.
SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED reserves the right to delete allegedly infringing content at its own discretion without prior notice and to take further legal action if necessary.
4. Abuse, insults, discrimination and harassment
The SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED community should be a safe place for all users. Therefore, the following behaviours in particular are strictly prohibited:
It is prohibited to threaten violence against individuals or groups of people, to trivialise violence or to incite violence. This includes any threat of physical, psychological or sexual violence, as well as the approval, desire or longing for physical or psychological harm.
Users must not be insulted, mocked or disparaged, either directly or indirectly. Derogatory comments about other community members, employees of SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED or third parties are not permitted. The same applies to defamatory representations in the form of images, memes or other media content.
Any form of discrimination is prohibited. This applies in particular to disparaging or exclusionary statements based on:
- Origin, nationality or ethnicity
- Skin colour or physical appearance
- Language
- Gender or gender identity
- sexual orientation
- Religion, belief or political opinion
- Age, disability, chronic illness or mental health condition
- Social status, occupation or economic situation.
Unwanted sexual advances, ambiguous comments, sexualised images, pornographic content or requests of a sexual nature are strictly prohibited. This also includes the publication or request of intimate photos or information.
Persistent harassment, including in the form of repeated messages, hostility or subtle threats, will not be tolerated. The same applies to the targeted pursuit, investigation or public exposure of other persons (so-called stalking or doxing).
5. Language, expression and manners
- Avoidance of swear words, vulgar language and deliberately provocative statements
- Careful choice of words to avoid misunderstandings and escalations
- Be open to other opinions, as long as they are expressed respectfully
- Constructive criticism instead of personal attacks.
6. Advertising, promotion and conflicts of interest
The community is primarily intended for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and opinions. It is not an advertising market or a channel for aggressive self-promotion. Therefore, the following rules apply in particular:
Posts that are exclusively or predominantly aimed at promoting your own products, services, discounts, special offers or similar offers are not permitted. Exceptions to this rule are information posts that are clearly marked as such and approved by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED.
References to your own projects, services or companies are permitted if they:
- are directly related to the content of the discussion
- are transparently identified as self-interest
- are not posted repeatedly or in bulk.
Anyone who has an economic interest in a topic or project due to their professional activity, shareholdings or other relationships should disclose this. The aim is to ensure transparency and traceability for all community members.
7. Spam, mass posts and disruption of the platform
- Repeated posting of identical or nearly identical content
- Meaningless posts with no discernible added value
- excessive use of symbols, emojis or capital letters to attract attention
- Cross-posting the same contribution in numerous areas without objective reason.
8. Fraud, deception and unfair practices
- Offering or promoting fraudulent investments, systems or projects
- Representing false facts in order to induce others to engage in financial transactions
- falsifying documents, evidence or identities
- the dissemination of deliberately false information with the aim of controlling the behaviour of others.
9. Market manipulation, information manipulation and multiple accounts
- deliberately false or misleading statements about financial instruments, projects, tokens or other investment objects
- Organised campaigns to artificially inflate or deflate the reputation of a project or company
- Calls to collectively buy or sell certain assets without any factual basis
- creating and using multiple accounts to give the impression of greater approval or disapproval.
10. Illegal content and actions
- offering, advertising or requesting illegal goods or services
- publishing content that violates criminal laws or other mandatory legal norms
- publishing content that incites or glorifies criminal offences
- using the platform for money laundering, terrorist financing or other criminal activities.
11. Automated use, bots and technical attacks
- the automated creation or sending of posts, comments or messages
- the systematic reading of content without complying with technical protection measures
- repeated accesses that are likely to impair the stability or availability of the services.
12. Plagiarism, source references and third-party copyrights
- Longer passages of text, graphics or other content may only be reproduced with the consent of the copyright holder.
- Reproductions of third-party content should be identified as such.
- Direct copying without consent that creates the impression of original authorship is considered plagiarism and is not permitted.
13. Protection of personal data and privacy
- Users should not post their own sensitive personal data publicly, in particular full addresses, ID details, bank details or access data.
- Users may not publish other people's personal data without their express consent.
- The publication of email addresses, telephone numbers or wallet addresses may be removed by moderators in order to protect the person concerned.
14. Reporting system, moderation and cooperation
- Content that is conspicuous, potentially illegal or violates these community rules should be reported using the designated reporting functions or contact channels.
- Reports should be as specific as possible so that they can be reviewed quickly.
- Deliberately false or abusive reports may themselves constitute a violation of these rules.
15. Sanctions for violations of the community rules
- Notice or informal warning
- Formal warning with documentation
- Temporary suspension of individual functions (e.g. comment function)
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account suspension and exclusion from the community
- Deletion or anonymisation of posts
- Legal action, including civil or criminal proceedings.
16. Changes and further development of the community rules
Significant changes will be announced in an appropriate manner. Continued use of the community after the amended rules come into effect constitutes acceptance of the updated provisions.
17. Applicable law and supplementary regulations
To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising in connection with the use of the community offerings operated by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of other jurisdictions remain unaffected.
Should individual provisions of these Community Rules be or become invalid in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision in a legally permissible manner.
